Why is there a need for
SFI?
Whilst advice on securities finance has always been available, it has
not hitherto been both independent and specialist. This is a highly
specialised and increasingly competitive business with opportunities for
generating revenue and controlling risk being overlooked by
organisations who could benefit from our expertise.
Who is SFI relevant to?
Any organisation considering their participation in securities finance.
Such organisations include beneficial owners, asset managers, custodian
banks, intermediaries, investment banks, proprietary traders, prime
brokers and hedge funds. Our current focus is on the latter
When should SFI be
contacted?
At any time an organisation is in need of independent, specialist
securities financing advice. Whether this is establishing the business
case, producing a business plan, implementing a strategy, assessing or
enhancing performance, SFI can work with you.
How do SFI operate?
Acting in the strictest confidence, SFI conduct projects ranging in
duration from one day to several months. SFI can charge on either a per
project or a per diem basis.
What do SFI do?
Work in partnership with management, bringing specialist experience and
expertise to their clients. SFI have successfully completed a wide range
of projects.
Benefits of using SFI
SFI help clients achieve better results quicker. We bring specialist
knowledge that the larger generalist consultants cannot afford to carry.
Also, being completely independent, SFI are uniquely placed to give
'best advice'.
